Mr. Hoover’s Geography Website

This site is designed to help us learn about our amazing world by viewing it through the lens of geography. Geography is everywhere: our food, clothes, news, music, transportation, technologies — virtually every aspect of our daily lives — link us to people and places throughout the world.

Learning about geography helps us see how vast and wonderful our planet is, and at the same time how small and interconnected our modern world has become, where our actions affect people and creatures in every part of the globe.

My hope is that this website, and our journey around the world together in class this year, help inspire us to become informed, caring global citizens. Happy exploring!
